Original spare parts

There are two main groups of car spare parts: genuine and non-genuine.

Genuine: Spare parts are manufactured at the automobile plants of Toyota Motor Corporation or co-operating plans and pass the strict control of Toyota professionals.

Non-genuine: The manufacturer of non-genuine spare parts is usually unknown. However, such manufactures often use the original reference number of spare part and "Toyota" logo, while the quality of imitation may be so high that it is practically impossible to tell the one from the master copy by its appearance. When installing such spare part onto the car not only this spare part may come to a failure, the fact that by itself is associated with the extra costs on its recurring replacement, but the failure of other, often very important and expensive car components and assemblies, also becomes possible.

Don't try to save buying non-genuine spare parts. The repair may turn out to be much more costly than the evanescent saving of expenses.
